Crowns
A crown is used to restore the portion of the tooth that is visible in the oral cavity. Tooth-colored crowns are made with porcelain fused to metal or, with the new technology available today, porcelain fused to a ceramic core. These newer crowns, all porcelain crowns, are a result of breakthroughs in adhesion and materials. They are difficult to distinguish from natural teeth. The lack of metal eliminates the dark line that may occur at the gumline with a porcelain fused to metal crown. All porcelain crowns are a beautiful and natural choice.
